Somerset Alchemy Cider Brandy Aged for 15 years

The first written records of Cider Brandy go back to 1678. Recently, however, there has been a revival of interest, led principally by the Somerset Cider Brandy Company, which in 1989 was granted by HM Customs the first full cider distilling licence in recorded history.

Somerset Cider Brandy evokes all the magic and mystery of the West Country's proud cider making and apple growing tradition. Distilled entirely from the apples of Somerset and then matured for 15 years in small oak barrels. Only produced in small quantities this is the finest product produced at the distillery.

1985 Barros Porto Vintage Port

Barros is an outstanding producer of Port Established in the beginning of the century, Barros is undoubtedly, one of the most prestigious companies producing and trading in port. This vintage 1985 is a perfect example of what they do well. Brick red with rich dried figs and plums on the palette, it has a Medium body with good fruit, soft tannins and a long finish. It will continue to age well.
